2023 USS James Monroe(SSBN 622) Reunion
Cleveland, Ohio 1-6 OCT 2023
The 2023 Reunion will be at the Holiday Inn Cleveland South, Independence, OH. Check-in will be on 1 October 2023 and check out will be on 6 October 2023. The room rate will be $119.00 per night plus state and local taxes (currently 17.5%). The reunion room rate will be available 3 days before and 3 days after for those who desire to arrive early or stay over. Room rate is the same whether you get a Single King Bed, Double Queen Beds or Double Double Beds. There will be a Hospitality Room available during most of the time. We will have snacks, soft drinks and beer available.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, A Christmas Story House & Museum and shopping/dining in the Flats. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tickets are $30.90 each. A Christmas Story House tickets are $14.00 each (Military Retiree gets 20% discount).

NFL Hall of Fame, First Ladies Museum & President Garfield Family Home. NFL Hall of Fame tickets are $26.00 each and First Ladies Museum/Garfield Home are $6.00. We need a firm commitment as to who wants to attend as we will probably need to reserve a tour bus. Both facilities are beside each other in Canton, OH. Bus will depart at 0900 and return at 1300 (ETA’s approximate).

Memorial Service on board COD (SS224) and lunch at the COD after the service if we want. If we decide we want a catered lunch from Brennan’s Catering, it is available for $17.00 a person consisting of Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Bratwurst, potato salad, baked beans, and a Pepsi.

Visit the Waterfront Flats of Cleveland – A revitalized waterfront neighborhood with shopping and dining (they have more than 60 restaurants).

Annual Reunion Auction to be held in the Hospitality Room.
Everyone is reminded to bring an item or two to be auctioned. Proceeds from the auction help defray reunion costs.
